William Myron Williams, 50

    William Myron Williams, age 50, of Clarksville, Tennessee, formerly of Irvine, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
    He was born September 25, 1962 in Estill County and was a son of Melvin L. Williams and Myra Thomas Finney. He was retired from the Military Special Forces, having served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. He was a member of the Rice Station Christian Church, Clarksville Masonic Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and the Wingman Motorcycle Club.
    He is survived by his father, Melvin Williams, Estill County; his mother, Myra T. Finney, Estill County; three sons: Jason Thomas Williams, Lexington; Jacob Alexander Williams and Mason Lee Williams, both of Virginia; one sister, Leah Williams, Estill County; one brother, Christopher Lee Williams, Estill County; and one niece, Lona Katherine Williams.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home chapel by Bro. Matt Vaught. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Friends may call between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3rd at the funeral home.

John Dewey Wiseman, age 67

    John Dewey Wiseman, age 67, of South Madison Avenue in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, at his home following a short illness.
    He was born May 26, 1946 in Estill County and was the son of the late Vernon and Mary Alice Walling Wiseman. He was a carpenter and attended the White Oak Church of God. He had lived in Estill County all of his life.
    Mr. Wiseman is survived by his wife, Glenda June Griffin Wiseman; two daughters, Lorrie Wiseman and Johnna Bach (Randy), both of Estill County; three brothers: Stanley Wiseman, Richmond; Cebert Wiseman and Raymond Wiseman, both of Estill County; five grandchildren: Cody Makenzie Hall, Madison Hall, Sheena Bach, Samantha Bach and Justice Bach; and one great grandchild, Braelynn Ruth.
    He was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Mae Harrison; and three brothers: Tracy, Winfred and Edward Wiseman.
    Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3rd at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Glyndon Woosley. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends called after 11 a.m., Tuesday, until service time at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers were Ben Walling, Justice Bach, Cody Hall, Randall Wiseman, Anthony Wiseman and Randy Bach.
    Honorary pallbearers were David Harrison, Carl Kirby, Donald Walling and J.R. Walling.

Russell Fred Brandenburg, 86

    Russell Fred Brandenburg, age 86, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, husband of Angeline Jean Cioffi Brandenburg, to whom he would have been married for 60 years as of Sep. 5, 2013, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
    He was born May 6, 1927 in Estill County and was a son of the late Fred Wesley and Willie Hume Richardson Brandenburg. He was a carpenter and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Air Force.
    He is survived by his wife, Angeline Jean Cioffi Brandenburg, Elizabethtown; two daughters: Teresa Brandenburg DeStefano, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Donna Brandenburg Fohl, Elizabethtown; one son, David Brandenburg, Springfield, Ohio; three sisters: Madonna Jenkins (Boyd), Delma Lee Lakes, and Evelyn Jean Williams (Don), all of Irvine; two brothers: Junior Brandenburg (Christine) and Harold Brandenburg (Carol), both of Irvine; and eight grandchildren: Jennifer Miller, Melissa Miller, Julie McNamee, Justin Brandenburg, Kelly Brandenburg, Tom Fohl, Steve Fohl, and Mike Fohl. Seven great grandchildren also survive.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Lillian Kirk, Lena B. Henry, and Jo Etta Brandenburg; one brother, James Brandenburg; and one grandchild, Joseph Fohl.
    Funeral services were conducted at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, September 1st at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Max Hester. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends called after 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church.
    Pallbearers were Tom Fohl, Steve Fohl, Mike Fohl, Justin Brandenburg, Jason Brandenburg, Ronnie Brandenburg, Byron Roberts, John Henry, and Wesley Jenkins.

Roger Lee Estes

    Roger Lee Estes, age 54, Deltona, Florida, passed away at the Hospice Care Center in Sanford, Florida on August 3, 2013 after a short illness.
    He was born on March 25, 1959 in Estill County to the late Bradley and Brucie Estes.
    He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Brenda Wilson Estes, Deltona; a daughter, Melinda Dooley (Keith), Irvine; stepdaughters, Cyndy Masiarczyk (John), Kansas; Renee Johnson, Florida; two grandsons, five step-grandchildren, and one step-great grandaughter. Also left behind were two brothers, Greenville Estes (Linda), Irvine; and Howard Estes (Barsha), Ohio; and two sisters, Rhoda Patrick (James), Richmond; and Dixie Wise (Bill); Ravenna.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; and a brother, Dale.
    He enjoyed returning to Kentucky to hunt, fish, and visit his family and friends. He was disabled and spent his spare time crafting knives, painting, and making jewelry.
    He left private instructions regarding his death and there was no public memorial.

Harold Ray Muncy, 53

    Harold Ray Muncy, age 53, of North Magnolia Street in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his home following a long illness.
    He was born February 9, 1960 in Estill County and was the son of the late Ernest and Amanda Estes Muncy. He was a former employee of Liquidators and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
    Mr. Muncy is survived by four daughters: Crystal Faye Muncy, Stanton; Amanda Yvonne Childers (Kenneth), Rogers; April Michelle Hull (Kenneth), Tompkinsville; and Misty Rae Dawn Muncy, Stanton; two stepsons: Joseph Lee Ledford and Joshua Warren Ledford (Jessica), both of Irvine; one brother, Lonnie Muncy (Betty), Irvine; and eight grandchildren: Ashley Rae Nichole Muncy, James William Ray Puckett, Melissa Ra-Dawn Childers, Brittany Yvonne Marie Chaney, Chandler Bryce Raker, Shayla Paige Ledford, Jocelyn Renee Ledford and Joshua Warren Ledford Jr.
    He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Daniels; and one grandchild, Kenneth Marshall Childers Jr.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Terry Barnes. Burial will be at the Crowe Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m, Tuesday, August 27th at the uneral home.
    Pallbearers will be Kenny Childers, Kenneth Hull, Jonathan McIntosh, Jeromy Hull, Michael Hull and Clay Gallup.

Florence Marie Lawson Powers, 88

    Florence Marie Lawson Powers, age 88, of Winchester, Kentucky, widow of Ward H. Powers, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 22, 2013.
    She was born in Corry, Pennsylvania., on January 27,1925, to the late Clifford and Esther Lawson. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for many years at the local hospitals in Winchester, Kentucky, and Dyersburg, Tennessee.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years in 2010; six brothers: George, Cliff, Frank, John, Robert, and Raymond Lawson; and two sisters: Mildred Hulings and Ruth Jaquith.
    She is survived by her six children: Alan Powers of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; Janine (Denzil) Cole of Irvine; Barbara (Stan) Anderson of Halls, Tennessee; Ken (Denise) Powers and Leslie (Wendel) Burns of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and Susan (Bill) Nichols of Lexington; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.     Visitation was held, 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 25th at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Winchester; with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery, Corry, Pennsylvania at a later date.

Mattie Frances Winkler Riddell, 80

    Mattie Frances Winkler Riddell, age 80, of Sub Station Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
    She was born January 20, 1933 in Estill County and was a daughter of the late Alvin Winkler and Dorothy Johnson Winkler Collins. She was retired from the American Christmas Tree Factory and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She attended Stacy Lane Community Church of God.
    Mattie Riddell was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Riddell.
    She is survived by one daughter, Mary Arvin, Waco, Kentucky; three sons: Larry T. Riddell, Madison County, Samuel D. Riddell and Steve Austin Riddell, both of Estill County; two sisters: Gladys Keen and Thelma Stamper, both of Estill County; four brothers: Willy Ray Winkler, Roy Jr. Winkler, Raymond Darrell Winkler, and Forest Hume Winkler, all of Estill County; ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Nancy Carolyn Willis and Fannie Jestine Walton; one sister, Eula Mae Winkler; and two brothers: Harold Winkler and Gene Austin Winkler.
    Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21st at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home chapel by Bro. Jason Riddell. Burial followed in West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 20th at the funeral home.

Charlie Wesley Fouch Sr., 55

    Charlie Wesley Fouch Sr., age 55 of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence.
    He was a former truck driver, born June 18, 1958.
    He is survived by his parents, Logan and Maggie Hall Fouch of Clay City; one son, Charlie Wesley Fouch Jr. (Ceceilia) of Clay City; one daughter, Holly Mullins (Broc) of Stanton; two grandchildren; two brothers, Alan Fouch of Clay City, and Herman Fouch of Lexington; and two sisters: Marie Dixon of Irvine, and Marlene Wren of Clay City.
    He was preceded in death by one sister.
    Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 17th at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel, 201 7th Avenue, Clay City. Visitation was 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 16th at the funeral home.

Marie West Jenkins, 83

    Marie West Jenkins, age 83, of Coal Wash Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
    She was born November 15, 1929 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Tolbert and Mary Moreland West. She was a homemaker and a member of the Irvine First Church of the Nazarene. She had lived in Estill County all of her life.
    Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Edwin Davis and Jack William Jenkins.
    She is survived by one son, Larry Davis (Regina), Irvine; one sister, Sally Howard, Richmond; one brother, Dale West, Estill County; and two grandchildren: Nicole Davis and Braden Davis (Laura).
    She was preceded in death by three sisters: Patsy Gilliam, Peggy Elliott and Myrtle Richardson; and two brothers: Tracy West and Charlie West Sr.
    Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Curt Napier. Burial was at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

William Ralph Patrick, age 68

    William Ralph Patrick, age 68, of Cobb Hill Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a long illness.
    He was born January 24, 1945 in Estill County and was the son of the late John and Hazel Hall Patrick. He was a retired employee of Lexington Service and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
    He is survived by his wife, Peggy Louella Pendergest Patrick; one daughter, Robin Nicole Alexander (Randy), Madison County; one son, William Ralph Patrick Jr. (Kayla), Estill County; six sisters: Leona Abney (Gene), Leora Rogers, both of Estill County; Phyllis Johnson, Lee County; Ruth Fox (Tom), Madison County; Opal Covey (Tony), and Glenda Abney (Ernie) both of Estill County; five brothers: Walter Patrick (Sandy), Michigan; Elwood Patrick (Debbie), Mark Patrick (Sandy), Henry Patrick, all of Estill County; and Bob Oaks (Doris), Ohio; and two grandchildren: William Ralph Patrick III and Taylor Nicole Patrick.
    He was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Abney.
    Graveside services were conducted by Bro. Donnie Watson at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 15th at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Scott Lane, Jamie Richardson, Chris Hall, Kevin Young, Josh Spicer and Brennan Patrick
    Arthur Spicer was an honorary pallbearer.

Harry Glenn Noland, 56

    Harry Glenn Noland, age 56, of Winchester Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home following a long battle with cancer.
    He was born on March 1, 1957 in Estill County and was the son of the late Ray and Beulah Henry Noland. He was a retired mason and attended the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene. He had lived in Estill County all of his life.
    He is survived by his wife, Dawn Woosley Noland; one son, Jay Rawlins, Irvine; three daughters: Melinda Mansfield (Steven), Irvine; Heather Rawlins, Louisville; and Angel Noland, Tennessee; four sisters: Sharon Tipton (Tracy), Pamula Noland, Donna Witt ( David), all of Irvine; and Deborah Hackworth (Jim), Richmond; his mother-in-law, Hallie Woosley; three brother-in-laws: Lewis Woosley (Janet), Joe Woosley (Rhonda), and Anthony Woosley (Fonda), all of Irvine; one sister-in-law, Judy Stone (Johnny), Irvine; and three grandchildren.
    Memorial services were conducted Saturday, August 17th at 12:00 Noon at the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene by Rev. Rob Steinbrook.

    Donald Ray Luster Jr., age 36, of Candlewood Drive in Berea, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013.
    He was born August 25, 1976 in Richmond and was the son of Donald Ray Luster and the late Patsy Hardy Luster. He was a construction worker and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
    He is survived by his father, Donald Ray Luster, Irvine; his grandmother, Elizabeth Hardy, Irvine; three daughters: Whitney Luster, Alyssa Luster, both of Corbin; and Katelyn Luster, Fort Myers, Floriday; two stepsons: Michael Brock and Estill Harris, both of Corbin; two sisters: Mary Hines (Tim Cline) and Tina Nix (Adrian), both of Berea; one brother, Tim Luster (Tonya), Irvine; his girlfriend: Christy Curtis and daughter Madison Webb, Berea; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose and Bro. Sidney Sparks Jr. Burial was at the Hardy Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 14th at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers were Bryan Hines, Brandon Crouch, Eric Thomas, T.J. Luster, Jeff Townsend and Tony Tipton.
